He lied in his bed, rolling onto his side after finishing his prayers. He made sure his earplugs were in tight; the fire alarms were loud after all, especially with no other ambient noises to get used to, so late at night, besides the pouring rain that showered upon the window. It was one of those nights that made one glad to be snug indoors. The room was dark, almost pitch black to an eye used to light, save for the streetlights through the thin crack of the curtain and small LEDs from laptops and other various things that made little difference to the brightness of the room. His mind went adrift as he thought of what was to come of him within the next several years. He thought of his love on the other side of the ocean. That damned ocean… Ah well, it wouldn’t be in the way soon enough… He rolled onto his belly, his arms folded by his chest as if he was pretending to be some sort of a beast. Facing downward, he stared into his imagination which was focused on her. I win… he thought to himself, smiling sleepily. It was a game they played together, just to be close. He stayed silent though, as his roommate was sleeping nearby. Sighing quietly, he pulled the covers over himself tighter and dreamed of wonderful things, happily…

(I dunno, just did this for fun. I'll be posting on more rps too, it's just too late for me to think of something tonight.XD)
(By the way, this isn't an rp, just a very short short story. Razz )
